Smithynet is the place for lively discussion about Andy and Stu Smith, the best of the current drivers in BriSCA F1s. It is the home of the most extensive online collection of Smith F1 photos, features lists of all of the Championships that the Smiths have won in the last 391 years, a full fixture list showing where you can meet the Smith Roadshow at a track near you, a vibrant links page to explore, and our inaugural Smithynet Awards with three categories to recognise the best Red & Yellow coloured car, the best 20th Century Hero and the best Gold Topped Smith this year. Everything is freely available without any of those shortsighted, hairy-palmed Wainman fans getting in the way.

New Titles Announced

Hot on the heels of the recent renaming of the 50-year old National Points Championship, Smithynet can exclusively reveal that all Smith racers are to follow in the footsteps of the inaugural Smith, Sir Stu Smith, and be re-christened with a middle name taken from a British Leyland car.

From now on, please ensure that you refer to the current racers, Andy and Stu, with their full and proper names: "Andy Smith" is now to be known as "Andy 'The Montego' Smith", and "Stu Smith Jnr" is now to be known as "Stu 'The Marina' Smith Jnr".

Introducing the Smithy Committee

The Smithy Committee meets about once a month during the racing season to discuss racing tactics and to gloss over any inconveniences. The committee members are elected by the Smithy Association's drivers and associate members at the end of each season, and then after the elections the Smiths then correct any mistakes made by the electorate by removing inappropriate committee members and appointing the correct people using whichever interpretation of the rules is necessary.

New Andy 'The Montego' Smith Shale Car Announced

After months of speculation, rumours of significant technological advances, radical chassis layout, new aerofoil developments, and an exciting new signwriting job, Smithynet can exclusively reveal that this is the new shale car that Andy 'The Montego' Smith will be leaving at home when not attending shale meetings for the rest of the season...

When asked what the team thought about the retro signwriting job being leaked online before the first public showing, a spokesman said that Dave's Peed.

Smith vs Wainman rumours
It has been long rumoured that the Smithy Committee rules against members of the Wainman dynasty in order to promote its own interests. This is simply not true - the relationship between the two families is healthy, normal, and in the 21st Century, should be accepted by everyone with an open mind. No date has been set for the Civil Ceremony, but Smithynet will be the first to announce the date and venue as soon as it is confirmed:

Smithynet is not associated with Andy 'The Montego' Smith, Stu 'The Maestro' Smith, "Stu 'The Marina' Smith Jnr",
BriSCA, BSCDA, Stoxnet, or any facts whatsoever. It's a joke, and if you cannot take the heat, please go back into the kitchen.
